Campus Safety Listening Sessions

Creating a safe campus environment starts with listening to the experiences and ideas of our community.

During the spring 2026 semester, the Office of Public Safety is hosting a series of small-group conversations with students, faculty and staff to hear perspectives about safety on campus.

Our mission extends beyond emergency response. We are committed to building trust and helping every member of our community feel safe and supported. In these sessions, we want to hear about:

  • What helps students, faculty and staff feel safe on campus.
  • Challenges related to safety.
  • Opportunities to strengthen the safety of our campus environment.

Feedback from these sessions, along with responses to the University Safety Survey launching in March, will directly inform our five-year strategic plan and guide future safety priorities and initiatives.

Together we continue to build a culture of safety at the University of Arizona.
