Building Access and Core Hours
The university has established core building hours Monday-Friday (excluding university holidays) for high-traffic academic buildings on the Tucson campus.
These buildings feature a new keyless lock system with enhanced security that requires your CatCard for entry. Your CatCard only provides access to building(s) assigned by your department access coordinator.
Key Return: Employees must return physical exterior-door keys to the University Facilities Management building at 1405 N. Ring Road for any building transitioned to keyless entry.
If you have trouble accessing a building with your CatCard, follow these Keyless Access Troubleshooting Tips.
