October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (#DVAM2024). DVAM is a time to bring attention to interpersonal violence occurring in domestic and dating relationships.

Watch this video from student leadership, who share a brief message about resources and support and how you can help raise awareness.

Annually, Wildcats take the opportunity to focus on raising awareness, educating our community, and supporting victims and survivors. Wildcats choose to care. Violence, fear, and abuse have no place in our community; we prohibit domestic and dating violence and support survivors.

Many offices and individuals at the university work together to ensure that all individuals who report being affected by domestic or dating violence receive a caring and compassionate response and have access to available resources and support. If you or someone you know needs support, it is available.
