SAFETY STROLLS
with Chief Safety Officer Steve Patterson
Safety Strolls are an initiative offered by the Office of Public Safety for students and employees.
Join Chief Safety Officer Steve Patterson and other public safety leaders for a one-hour walk to explore safety needs, concerns and resources in the areas on campus that matter most to you. Safety Strolls are designed for student organizations or clubs, and faculty/staff departments, units, or teams and are a great way to connect directly with OPS staff. Questions and suggestions are encouraged.
Leaders on each stroll will also provide an overview of safety resources on campus, including:
- Safecats mobile app.
- ASUA SafeRide, using the TripShot app.
- Threat Assessment and Management guidance.
- CAPS mental health services.
- Emergency blue light phones.
- Parking garage safety guidance.
- Classroom safety (door locks, AED and Stop the Bleed kits).
