The Office of Public Safety is proud to partner with Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault and Take Back the Night Tucson on the second annual Wildcats Roar Against Sexual Violence 5K Run/Walk/Roll and Resource Fair on April 2 during Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
The entire Tucson community is invited to unite on the U of A Mall for an evening of empowerment, education and action to show your support in the fight against sexual violence.
- Visit the resource fair to learn about vital resources and connect with community organizations.
- Register for the 5K glow run/walk/roll as an individual or teams of 4 - 8 people! Team registration provides $5 off each ticket. Proceeds support the university’s Survivor Support Services and their goal of enhancing safe spaces and resources for survivors of sexual assault.
- Attend the survivor speakout and candlelight vigil and help light up the night with support and awareness.
- Hear from community speakers, enjoy a live DJ and dance performances, and participate in artistic expressions.
The Office of Public Safety is committed to facilitating learning, empowering through education and fostering awareness in order to keep our community safe.
